Cathy Page never came home from school on October 22, 1935.

She had been last seen walking to Peterson Farm with Harold Peterson, the youngest of the Petersons. Three workers at the hog farm claimed they saw her walk with Harold along the holding pens. The three workers disappeared after making the report.

Her bloodied dress was found during the police search of the hog pens. But a tour of meat packers had been held at the pen that the dress had been found in at the same time she had been seen with Harold. None of the people on the tour had seen her.

Her family hired an outside investigator. He could not find anything that would directly link Harold to her disappearance.

Cathy's head was found in 1936. It looked as if she had been partially eaten.
